ABOUT A Gift for Business

Carole launched A Gift for Business® initially as Anne & Oliver Marketing in 2001 with one goal in mind:  "My business philosophy is my version of the Golden Rule - to treat my clients in the manner that I like to be treated." How is this accomplished? By providing clients with tasteful gift choices tailored to fit their specific needs; deliver on or before their deadline; and communicate with them all along the way. It’s a fairly simple but demanding concept that has fueled the business to grow annually.  In 2013; a strategic business arrangement with HALO Branded Solutions began; enabling A Gift for Business® to offer a much broader scope of services and capabilities.

Carole’s experience in the Corporate Gift business began in the 90's with Neiman Marcus in Dallas. She then layered on promotional products and branded apparel business experience while with CaseDunlap, also in Dallas. A Gift for Business® was ultimately created to marry the different types of product and service offerings necessary to provide a complete range of merchandise to clients with the high level of customer care she wanted to provide; while being able to spend time with her family and philanthropy efforts. 

Examples of merchandise offered range from pens and drinkware to one-of-a-kind custom crystal sculptures, custom framed commemoratives - and everything in between. Scope of projects vary from tee shirts - to “gift closets” - to meeting gifts - to recognition gifts and awards, company stores and more.  Additional capabilities include graphic design/creative, and merchandise warehousing/ fulfillment services. Solid, long-term relationships with suppliers and decoration vendors and the HALO Branded Solutions relationship keeps orders moving; accurate, and delivered on time.

Also important to Carole is giving back -  so a portion of the business's profits are donated to the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in memory of sweet Pamela Christine Hill, to go specifically towards melanoma cancer research.  (read more about this on our Give Back tab).

When not working for clients; Carole enjoys being with her husband, David; with their beloved Goldendoodle, Ryder, and spending time with family and friends.
